Regional Innovation Labs
Regional Innovation Labs are for regions where a small or bigger group of determined people, from one or more organizations, feels a deep sense of urgency for change with view to the upcoming years until 2030.
Some regions appear to live their full potential and want to do much more so, some have ‘blind spots’ to be seen and developed, others might have even experienced ‘dark nights of the regions soul’, in terms of catastrophic events like nature catastrophes, terror acts, wars or similar.
Others might be afraid of the effects of global warming in the future, of (em)migration or disinvestment to come.
The format offers an open space for the inquiry of the needs from the land, the people and the economy, for developing ideas and visions and to work on solutions in a rapid prototyping manner.
Regional Innovation Labs are co-hosted by the founder Henrik Langholf (Spirit For Future) and me. By the end of 2026 we will embark for a longer journey which will connect Innovation Labs in various regions in the world. Playful Innovation
The concept for the Regional Innovation Labs is based on the “Open Space Technology”.
The central event of the Labs is a one week gathering for bringing people together from within the region and from connected global regions (through twin cities, customers & suppliers to the regional industry, partnerships etc.).
The concrete agenda will be co-created at the beginning of the Lab and daily adapted to give space to emerging needs, requirements and ideas. Certain elements will be included in a regular manner: Sharing circles, Embodied System Mapping, Live-interviews with locals & Zoom-interviews with distant (potential) partners. The bottom line innovation approach is called “Emotional Innovation Solutions™”, which gives us a conceptual frame that helps us to keep focus on our core questions.
A Regional Innovation Lab is a 6 day format that gathers people from on site plus global participants who wish to contribute.
A first prototype, the Habiba Innovation Lab >, took place in November 2025 in the South of Sinai.
For enterprises and organisations who wish to benefit from the innovative power of this format, founder Henrik Langholf (Spirit For Future) offers a 1-2 days edition: Towards New Horizons >

new access to relevant information
An intrinsic part of the Regional Innovation Labs is the Embodied System Mapping. This new form of constellation work mostly known from its origin in systemic family therapy is a creative ritual to re-connect you with your deepest resources. It creates an intelligent space with access to a knowing field from where new insights can arise.
What future do you want to shape, with a view to your life, your organization, the bigger picture? What dynamics, what limits and what possibilities would you like to understand more deeply? What are the questions that connect us “in times like these” and how do we move forward with them? We use meditation, journaling and dialog to find the burning questions that are currently alive. All future questions contain various “system elements” that can be set up with representatives.
From the initial visualization of the relationships between the elements that play a role in the desired future, insights, dialogues and movements emerge “all by themselves”.

diving for the hidden pearls
While you will surely benefit my trauma expertise, my academic studies and my experiences as project manager and group facilitator, by working with me my simple presence will make all the difference.
Being highly sensitive and located on the autistic spectrumI have a special gift of seeing which allows for the unseen things that got stuck to emerge naturally. Where life was holding back things start to move again – simply by the way I am present in a room, by my seeing and the depth of inner relating to what is there.
My systemic and wholistic trainings and decades long experience in working with humans facing challenging situations in their lives – including my own – provided me with a full basket of insights what it means to be human in this world.
In our work together a basic understanding of the functioning of our nervous system, of our need to belong and of the spiritual dimension that is essential to a human existence will provide you with an orienting compass that can help you navigate every future experience, whether known or unknown.
